LOVE: Love of Christ’s Kingdom

Our goal is to help the incarcerated people experience the love of our LORD, Jesus Christ by continuing visitation and friendship through our prayers, encouragement, counseling, comforting and provision. Our ultimate goal is to cut the chain of recidivism completely by becoming the citizen of Christ’s Kingdom.

우리는 감옥에 갇힌 자와 그들의 가족에게 위로와 공급과 격려를 통하여 하나님의 사랑과 예수님의 복음을 전달한다. 하나님의 사랑을 깊히 체험한 사람은 재범 가능성이 현격히 낮아진다.

Recidivism

Within three years of release, about two-thirds (67.8 percent) of released prisoners were rearrested. Within five years of release, about three-quarters (76.6 percent) of released prisoners were rearrested. Of those prisoners who were rearrested, more than half (56.7 percent) were arrested by the end of the first year.

심각한 현실은 감옥에서 나온 사람들이 3년 내에 67.8%, 그리고 5년 내에 76.6%가 다시 체포된다는 것이다. 특히 다시 체포되는 사람들 중에 56.7%가 출감 후에 1년 내에 체포된다는 것이다.
