Project: Potter’s Hands
Potter’s Hands Project - The main reason for high recidivism is the lack of job opportunity for those coming out of incarceration. These two businesses, Direct to Garment and Embroidery, will provide them with job training and opportunities. It also will provide financial stability for The LOCK Ministry when income from the Potter’s Hands Project becomes steady.
For the Direct to Garment we are using Epson F2100 garment printing equipment along with pre-treat and hot-press equipment. We offer two types of printing methods: Direct-To-Garment printing and Direct-To-Film printing. DTG is a method that prints directly onto shirts and DTF is a method that prints on a film then attaches to shirts using a high temperature press.
For Embroidery, we are using the Ricoma MT-1502 Machine. The 15’’ of MT-1502 means that the machine has 15 thread spools and “02” means that the machine has two threads. We can handle various custom embroideries for hats, shirts, towels, aprons, etc.
